How to sell and demo
A 20-minute demo script, pipeline stages, and how to use your referral link.
The pipeline you should run
- Lead — you have a name, phone, and business type.
- Demo — they have seen the product (mark Demo done on your portal).
- Signed up — they used your /signup?ref=YOURCODE link.
- Subscribed — they paid. This is when commission starts.
- Renewed — they paid again. Partners may earn a different renewal rate.
Before the meeting (10 minutes)
- Know their type and which playbook you will open (who to sell to).
- Have your referral link ready — see Trial, signup, and your link.
- Decide Starter vs Professional vs Business before they ask “how much?” (Plans and pricing).
- If they are a group, mall, or multi-site fuel brand, be ready to flag a large deal instead of arguing price.
20-minute demo script
- 2 min — Confirm what they sell, locations, and how they take money.
- 1 min — Pitch: one hosted system for selling, stock, and money. You are not selling servers.
- 10 min — Click the three screens in the playbook (POS/fuel/fees/rooms). Complete one real-looking transaction.
- 3 min — Show the owner view: stock moved, invoice or report, staff login idea.
- 2 min — Price + trial: 14 days, first month 30% off, recommended plan.
- 2 min — Send the signup link in the meeting. Sit with them until the account exists.

“The trial is 14 days on Starter access. Use my link so I can help you through setup. If it fits, you subscribe in the app — I do not take your card details.”
Where the demo happens
- Best: their own trial, on their phone, with their products.
- Also fine: you drive, they watch, then they sign up on your link.
- They can request a scheduled product demo at /demo — useful for cautious owners.
- YouTube is for homework after the meeting, not a replacement for a live walkthrough.
After the demo
On the partner / affiliate dashboard, mark the referral as demo done. Stay on them for setup using the onboarding checklist. Unfinished trials rarely convert.
