Playbook: retail and wholesale

Shops, supermarkets, and distributors — demo flow and plan advice.

Pain they already feel

  • Stock on the shelf does not match the book.
  • Cashiers sell below cost or skip receipts.
  • Wholesale customers take goods on credit with no statement.
  • The second shop cannot see what the first shop has.

What to open in the demo

  1. POS — sell two items, take Paystack or cash, print / SMS a receipt.
  2. Inventory — show on-hand after the sale.
  3. Invoice or estimate — a credit / wholesale customer.
  4. If they have two shops: stores and an inter-store transfer.
  5. Storefront — “your catalogue can also take payment online”.

Plan

Single shop, few staff → Starter to start. Two or more locations, serious catalogue, or CRM → Professional. Large chain or negotiated commercial terms → flag a large deal. See Plans and pricing before you quote.

Send them to signup with your code and biz=retail (or ecommerce if they are mostly online). Then run the onboarding checklist.

Talk track

“When the cashier sells, stock moves and the owner sees it. Wholesale invoices sit on the same books as walk-in POS. You are not running two systems.”
